 Maria Elena Bello, born April 18, 1967 in the United States, is an actress as well as a writer, producer, and director. Permanent Midnight (1998), Payback (1999), Coyote Ugly ((2000), The Cooler (3), A History of Violence (2004), The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor (2009), Grown Ups (2010) and Prisoners (2013) were a few of her film roles. Bello has appeared on television as Dr. Anna Del Amico (1997-1998) and also in other starring parts such as Michelle McBride (2016 season), and Jacqueline Sloane (2017-2021) on NCIS. Bello was born on April 18, 1967 in Norristown 2 to Kathy Bello, an educator and school nurse. Bello also appeared as Dr. Anna Del Amico in the medical drama ER (1997-1998). Bello also played other roles, such as Michelle McBride in the debut season of the series Touch in 2013, as well as the role of Special Agent Jacqueline Sloane in the series NCIS from 2017 through 2021. [7][8] She majored in political science at Villanova University. Bello developed her acting skills in several New York theater productions following her graduation. Bello is the mother of Jackson and Dan McDermott, her ex-boyfriend. Bello has written about her relationship with Clare Munn in November 2013. She published a book entitled Whatever...Love Is love: Questioning the labels we give ourselves (Dey Street Books April 28, 2015).
