Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC, born on March 4 1954, is a Canadian-American actress. O'Hara has won a number of awards, including a Genie Award, a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, and six Canadian Screen Awards. She was named an Officer of the Order of Canada in 2018 and was honored with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Award in 2020. O'Hara was first noticed as an actress while she was a part of The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. Together with John Candy and Dan Aykroyd she was part of the main team of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara joined Candy in the sketch comedy series Second City Television (1976-1984). She received critical acclaim both for her writing abilities and acting, and was awarded an Primetime Emmy Award, 1981 for Outstanding Writing in a Variety Series. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the new Second City artistic advisory board which was headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura, Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
